CEMETERY LODGE

 

This house featured on a TV programme called "Homes Under The Hammer" in England on BBC1 last week. It is local to my area and if I had the money I would have bought it.

 

 

A HOUSE which has stood in the grounds of a cemetery for almost 162 years has been put up for sale by a council.

The lodge has always been partly used as a house and was most recently occupied by a caretaker until about 10 years ago. The front two rooms have always been used as office space.

It offers an entrance hall, sitting room, lounge, dining room, morning room, kitchen, rear hallway, and cloakroom. On the first floor there is a landing with three bedrooms and a large walk-in cupboard.

in need of total modernisation and a lot of tender loving care its sparse kitchen needs totally ripping out.

Who is man or woman enough to take on this unique opportunity of renovating this house. But no playing Micheal Jacksons "Thriller".
